Admission Requirement


The Technical and Vocational Education and Training being conducted at Unity University College is a middle level occupational training, basically designed for those students who completed grade ten. The training was launched at the University College in November 2003. At present it is being conducted in five areas of studies; Accounting, Marketing, Secretarial Science and Office Management, Information Technology and Law.

The training consists of three programs 10 + 1, 10 + 2 and 10 + 3. The University College runs these programs in its regular and extension session.

The courses offered in each program are categorized in to Main, Supportive and Common courses. The common courses have, in general, three components. They are Course, Project and Apprenticeship. A one year program consists of 1392 hours out of which 312 hours are allotted for apprenticeship.

At the successful completion of 10 + 1, 10 + 2 and 10 + 3 programs the graduates are awarded with Certificate Level I, Certificate Level II and a College Diploma respectively.
