offers a three - year programme, which leads to NCC Education's
international Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS).
Before attaining the international Advanced Diploma in Computer
Studies, students must successfully complete two other NCC Education
programmes:
- Inernational Certificate in Computer Studies (ICCS).
- International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS).
International Certificate in computer Studies
The course focuses on developing students' business English and knowledge of
Microsoft Office products. It also includes mathematics and an
introduction to programming and databases. The course prepares
students for the next step: the international Diploma in Computer
Studies.
International Diploma in computer Studies
The course subjects covered by the course are computer technology,
systems development, business organisation and business communication.
The course also includes a practical project to help students
understand the challenges of working in an IT department. On successful
completion of this course, graduates continue for a further year
to get the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies.
International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies
The course builids on the International Diploma in Computer Studies, and emphasises
the use of computing in a business context. The course is divided
equally between lectures and tutorials, practical and project
time and private study.
On the successful completion of the International Advanced Diploma
in Computer Studies it is possible for students to study for a
further year and to obtain a BSc Honours Degree in Computing and
Information Systems from London Guildhall University.
