The Computer Technology (CT) is one of the latest and growing departments in the UUC. It was established in 2002 in the vision to revolutionize the current development level of computerized systems, software engineering and software usage in Ethiopia. Our students are aimed towards a profession of computer scientist with excellent skills in computer programming, software development and computer networking. During their stay at UUC they are provided with the necessary knowledge on Computer Science disciplines. The students are also presented with two specialization streams. According to their choice, the students are interfaced vastly with software development or Data networking. The students are expected to fulfill 83 credit hours of core courses for the fulfillment of B. Sc. in Computer Technology.
