The Department of Philosophy and Psychology is one of the departments in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences established in July 2002 according to the new structure of UUC. It offers 3 common courses: General Psychology (Psyc 201), Introduction to Philosophy I (Logic) (Phil 101), and Introduction to Philosophy II (Phil 102). The latter will phase out after this semester substituted by Ethics and Civic Education (Phil 103). Physically, the Department is located in Gerji campus, yellow building, Room No. 612C. It could be accessed through the telephone No. 62 71 18. The current Head of the Department is Ato Haileyesus Seba.
