The Activities/ Tasks to be performed by the Department are:

1. continuously review and develop the curriculum in order to make it more relevant to the need and growth of the nation;
2. design and implement modalities to develop the staff of the Department in their academic status;
3. establish linkage with 3rd level local and international educational institutions;
4. establish contact with prospective employers and business community directly or through the Chamber of Commerce;
5. encourage and assist staff members of the Department to conduct research activities, and upgrade their qualifications;
6. prepare and conduct workshops relevant to the Department.
