The establishment of the Department of acccounting parallels
the establishment of the then Unity College in 1997. The department
commenced its operation with diploma program in accounting. Subsquently
it introduced its degree program in accounting. Thus, currently
the department of accounting is running both diploma and degree
programs in accounting. The department offers a composite minor
to its students in business management and economics.
